Commercial description Based on a classic Belgian beer, Bastogne is a highly hopped amber beer finished with Brettanomyces. This beer showcases Opal hops with an aroma that is earthy and spicy. the hop presence continues into the flavor with a bit of grassiness supported by a biscuity and slightly sweet caramel malt flavor. A lingering bitterness and dry finish yields a very drinkable beer. Brett character will continue to evolve over time as this beer matures. The brewer markets this same or near-same product by more than one names. This can be the result of a brewer distributing this beer under different names in different countries, or the brewer simply changing the name, but not the recipe at different points in time.
