3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 notalush (3744) - Denver, USA - FEB 26, 2011
Tap at Funkwerks - more like a cross between a golden ale and a pils, but since they seem to use the same yeast for everything, I suppose the saison designation works - pils malt is showcased well here - smooth and lager-like - chalky a bit through the middle - a bit of spiciness from the yeast - peppery - yeastiness and a bit of perfumey aromatics - dry, biscuity finish - easy drinking and flavorful for something so light.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 BeerBunker (709) - Burbank, Illinois, USA - MAR 21, 2012
On tap at Cheeky Monk in Denver. Pours a hazy orange color with a fizzy white head. Aroma is of wheat, apricot, assorted fruit, and malt. Taste is of wheat, and a lot more of the apricot. Has a decent flavor of grassy hops. Long lingering apricot taste. Not sure why there’s so much apricot in this one. Very carbonated and insanely fizzy. Has a slight tartness to it. Good beer, and very easy to drink. Definitely a session beer.

Absolutely excellent session beer (despite my rating numbers, this would be a beer I’d want to drink every day)!

Draft at Funkwerks. Only one that wasn’t in any of the samplers. Pours a nice enough looking gold, fluffy white head. Nose is crisp and clean, pretty straightforward. Really nice spicy notes and soft fruit from the hops. Clean pils malt. On taste, pretty easy drinking and light. Soft bitterness and full malt character. Light bodied and nice yeast character. Tasty beer, but not really a standout overall.
