COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The second release from the Funkwerks brettanomyces inoculated barrels! Smoky, earthy aromas from the brettanomyces play off the oakiness of our Chardonnay barrels, combined with a slightly sweet fruitiness of a high gravity Saison; this makes for a complex beer.

Draft at Funkwerks. Pours a deep and mostly clear gold, nice white foam. Nose is really nice, good level of funk, cherry brett and some faint grape acidity in the nose. Pretty clean overall. On tasting, Nice light yogurt and grape component, but leans back towards the Brett with some soft cherry. Dry and clean finish overall. Really a solid beer, though could always use a bit more funk.

On tap poured hazy yellowish-orange with white head, aroma has nice notes of white grape, very slight oak, pineapple, slightly tart lemon, orange, hints of spice and biscuit in there as well. Taste was a bouquet of tropical fruit with pineapple, peach, funky lemon and a hint of oak goes into some sweet biscuit and a slight wine character. Nicely done.

UPDATED: NOV 12, 2011 Tap @ brewery. Another really beautiful, colorful beer from these guys- mildly cloudy, yellow orange appearance with a pearl white head. Moderate brett, white wine, earth, oak, pepper, organic, floral, tart, citrusy aroma. Light citrusy, mango, pineapple, mild pepper, mild brett, white wine, earthy, oaky flavor with a mildly dry, peppery finish. Pretty tasty.
