3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Went in expecting a dark saison but it really comes off similar to a quad with heavy sweetness and darkfruits. Very little barrel with some subtle coke and vanilla on the back end. Its not terrible.

4.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Bottle thanks to adnielsen ! Pours a deep chestnut brown color with a finger of khaki foam. The nose is full of cola, burnt sugar, earthy herbal mustiness and soft bourbon. The palate is balanced yet complex. Tons of layered burnt sugar, date, plum, cola, herbal anise, soft boozy vanilla... everything is dialed in to perfection with great carbonation and a dry soft finish. Damn this was is one of the best bourbon aged belgian quads I’ve ever had !

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Poured from bottle into tulip: pours dark hazy brown with a thin tan head. Aroma of funk, currants, and sweetness. Tastes sweet with some fruit and Belgian funk, and a little bourbony and boozy. Slightly astringent, but not bad.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Aroma is lots of chocolate, vanilla, figs, and bourbon. Pours hazy dark brown, nearly black with lively carbonation and a perfect creamy head. Tastes chocolaty, smooth with a saison spiciness and a hint of bourbon. Very unique and delicious. I would think after a few years in the cellar this would be perfect.

Bottle. One Year old. Pours very dark brown with a tan head. Smells slightly sour, blackberries, currants. Really smooth tastes, plums, fruity, slight Belgian funk to it, touch of vanilla, really interesting. I really like it, a lot. :)
