COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This light-hued beer was inspired by Belgian Tripels and Golden Strong ales. A high percentage of Pilsner malt and a new yeast strain we used present a lemon character in the aroma. This citrus quality carries into the flavor and finishes with a slight tartness. This beer is well balanced and smooth, making it easy to drink and sightly deceptive because of its high ABV.

Tap at the source. Pours hazy straw with thin white head that lasts and laces. Smells of esthers predominately, some banana, wheat. Drinks smoothly with little lingering bitterness. Medium bodied. Buries the alcohol. Tastes of wheat malt, esthers, sugar, and slight caramel.

Bomber bottle. Aroma is spicy and some citrus. Appearance is a hazy gold with some suds. Taste is like a green apple mixed with lemon citrus. Very refreshing. Palate is kinda sour. Overall, a great beer. Would buy again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle shared during some post-bus drinking at the Downtown Inn for RBWG. Cloudy gold pour. Good floral and slightly funky nose. Cherry fruitiness with slight tartness. Pretty good.

Bomber pours a hazy orange-yellow, nice cream head with decent lacing. The aroma is quite citrus-y, but the taste has a nice bitterness to it. The citrus is noticeable in the finish too. Overall a pretty good belgian.

Sampled at the brewery. The aroma is musty, yeasty, pear. The flavor is sweet malts, grainy, pear. This is a solid beer.

Hazy honey pour with a small eggshell cap. Caramel, honey-baked biscuit, Belgian yeast, lemon zest, and tart unripened fruit. Invisible alcohol. Solid beer.

Tap - another one-dimensional, overly sweet, overly alcoholic take on a Belgian tripel/golden strong - strong honey, moderate lemon, light pepper, moderate floral notes, a touch of moneral - other than that and a lot of apparent alcohol, not a ton happening - disappointing from this brewery.

750 bottle that pours a lite straw colored pale yellow. A lite malt aroma mixed with some citrus and a little honey in the background. Sweet flavors of malts and lemon. Dry finish even a little astringent. Not my idea of a Strong Belgian Ale, more Saison like.
