COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This light-hued beer was inspired by Belgian Tripels and Golden Strong ales. A high percentage of Pilsner malt and a new yeast strain we used present a lemon character in the aroma. This citrus quality carries into the flavor and finishes with a slight tartness. This beer is well balanced and smooth, making it easy to drink and sightly deceptive because of its high ABV.

Bottle shared by Adam. Thanks! Pours a hazed deep gold with a white head. Nose is typical funkwerks yeast. Some pepper and vanilla. Fruity with a pineapple note as well. On tasting, moderate sweetness, balanced bitterness. Mid-dry finish. More fruity notes and vanilla. Kind of generic overall.

750 ml bottle from adnielsen. Thanks, Aaron. Pours a lighter gold sunshine hue. Near transparent pour with a bright big white head that dies down, carbonation driven as it dies to a ringer and laces small. Aromas are grass and gentle florals, a bit of dry grain, gentle sweet dough and fruit mix with a touch of yeasty life. Some straw, gentle citrus, and florals. Initial is much sweeter than the nose let on, doughy and estery fruit, some honeycrisp apples and honey. Gentle dryness, florals, and earth. Cereal grains, wet paper, and vanilla. Touches of dryness, mellow hops try to muster some strength, but overall this becomes a bit of a sweet mess, on par with my feelings on a American Tripel trys. Pils malt, a bit of spice, estery fruit and honey mix with sweet dough. Meh.
