3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
750ml bottle crushed with the Dude. Pours a hazed orangish copper with a thick white head. Aroma of tropical fruits, mostly passionfruit and pineapple, some sweet malt presence. Flavor is sweet, quite fruity, with some slight bitterness. The New Zealand hops provide a nice tropical fruit and mint presence. A bit boozy, full bodied with a lively carbonation. Finishes bitter with a slight booze burn. Overall, a bit too boozy and sweet for me.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle: The aroma consists of tropical fruits, orange, orange peel, mango, and some light dusty yeast notes. It pours a slightly hazy golden-orange with a large orange-tinged off-white head that has good retention. There is some soapy webbing left on the sides of the glass. The flavor starts with a quick moderate tropical fruits, pineapple, and citrus, The finish has light lemon/lemon peel, yeast, and pepper. It’s medium bodied with lively carbonation that is a tad prickly at times. Overall, I like the regular Saison much better.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draft from the source (GABF weekeend) - Pumped to try this one. Clear gold pour with nice white head. Aroma is spicy and delicous fruity. Flaovr has more spice, tropical fruits, barely funky. I know I didn’t detail it, but there is kind of a lot going on here. Lingering fruity finish. Just lovely.

An immense Saison! This teeters on the edge b/w Saison and Tripel...but regardless of the style, it does not disappoint. This is an incredible brew. Fans of either the Saison or Tripel style will appreciate (and enjoy) this amazing beer.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from box aroma
Pours very dark and dank for a saison. Amber with a white head. No straw color offered. Aromas of banana, some clove and perhaps just a touch of sweet citrus fruit. Taste is spicy Belgian style yeast esters. Pretty focused not the goofball hops too. Not bad, me likey.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
The beer pours perfectly with a nice hazy orange hue to it that passes almost no light through it, a solid white foamy head, and great lacing on the glass at all time. (For The Record, Ive Never Given Out Any 5’s before). The smell is great with a blend of orange peel and lemons, with a spicey follow up of pepper and corriander. The taste is great with orange up front then follows with a lemony and peach bitterness. The mouthfeel is decent with a dryness and the beer is well carbonated. Overall, this is a great beer that acts more like a Saison than a belgian as the bottle advertises.

Bottle shared thanks to Matt at proof happy hour! Sparse notes, but slightly hazy yellow with bubbly white head. Nice funky Belgian treat and light fruit on the nose, taste follows, alcohol well hidden and good balance. Nice stuff.
