This delicious creation was truly a product of creativity, ingenuity, and luck. Last summer, we took a test batch of our Berliner Weisse style summer ale, Provincial, that didnít quite hit gravity, and decided to have some fun with it! We added a heavy dose of raspberries in this sessionable, refreshingly tart beer. The end result was so delicious we decided to recreate it! This delightfully tart beer is stimulating and refreshing, with a citrusy raspberry aroma which transitions to a subtly sweet and tart finish.

Tap. Hazy raspberry win a thin pink white head that laces. Aromas of raspberry, tart fruit and some earthy notes. Flavor is the same with a dry finish. Light bodied.

Pours a bright pink body, head is 2/3rd of an inch and has a white head with a pinkish hue. Head retention and lacing were outstanding, this was one of the most attractive looking beers I can remember. Smell is of raspberries and tart lemon. Reminds me of a Lemon berry slushy from Sonic. Tart yeast is also present. Malt. alcohol and hops arenít detected. Taste is of sweet. slightly tart raspberries and sour yeast. Light sweet malt is also present. Hops and alcohol arenít there. This beer is all about the fruit. Mouthfeel is very light and refreshing. Carbonation levels were high and head retention added some nice froth to the body. Beer ends with a slight puckering finish. Overall this was a very good light bodied, fruit sour ale. No artificial flavors, syrupy bodies you find in some fruit beers. Visually, one of the best beers iíve seen, looking forward to buying more.

Red color. Raspberry aroma and flavor, quite bit of berry flavor but not really sour at all; some light wheat. Decent fruit beer but I donít know about calling it a Berliner.

On tap at Funkwerks, Fort Collins, CO. Reddish pour (almost the color of pink grapefruit) with a short white head. Funky aroma of horse blanket, leather, and barnyard with hints of fruit. The taste allows the raspberry to shine destroying any misgivings I had from the aroma. Finishes clean. Once you get past the aroma this is a fine beer.

Poured a muddled pinkish color with aromas of light wheat, tart lemon and some light raspberry. Flavors match the aromas with some nice fresh tart raspberries in the finish.

On tap @ Funkwerks. Pours a bright Ruby Red Squirt appearance with a pinkish head. Foot sweat, stomach acid, raspberry tea, cheesy aroma. Pretty juicy flavor. Light bodied. A touch tart. Lemon and berry flavor. Ok.

Draft at Choice City Deli. Pours light red with a thin white head. Doesnít leave any lacing in the glass. Canít miss those raspberry notes on the nose. Tart and crisp on the tongue with the fruit really coming through. Finishes clean. Another winner from FW.

Tap at Beercade. Slightly hazy orange pour with a red tint. Small white ring head. Nice raspberry nose with a slightly tart taste that is well balanced. Very nice.
