4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 arminjewell (3113) - Parker, Colorado, USA - APR 6, 2012
Pour on tap at the brewery, hazy orange-pinkish glow with fluffy white head, aroma brought notes of nice berry, tart and bitter skins, hints of floral notes start to come through with a decent hibiscus note, some slight funk and fruit flavors come through as well. Taste was nice, fruity berries mix well into rose, hibiscus, some slight earthy tones into a sweet ester middle, slight biscuit notes finish with a slight funk.
3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Beaver (913) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - MAR 29, 2012
750ml bottle, number 463 of 675. Pours a rosy pink with a creamy light pink head that goes to a thin film and leaves some lacing.
The aroma is a little subdued - sweet and tart fruits and floral notes.
The flavor is sweet cherries and raspberries with a slight tart note and a dry champagne like finish. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with low carbonation.
Overall, a nice fruity saison. I like it.

On tap @ Rackhouse. Poured a beautiful rich ruby color with a pink head. Scent of sour fruits (cherries, raspberries), red wine vinegar. Taste is of crisp fresh raspberry and some hibiscus. Tart, refreshing and crisp.
4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20 JStax (835) - Devola, Ohio, USA - MAR 25, 2012
Shared bottle at Jackie-O’s. Poured into a snifter. Appearance is a nice pink with a head of foam that’s white with a pink cast to it. Aroma is sweet hibiscus and watermelon?...anyway, it was sweet. Taste is more of the aroma with an attenuation on the hibiscus. They pulled this beer off well. Thanks for sharing!
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 3fourths (6407) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - MAR 3, 2012
draft. cloudy ruby red. some meaty, bloody, iron-heavy notes early, opening up into more floral and fruity notes: maraschino cherry syrup and such. medium-light body. pasty texture. chalk and potpourri finish. medium-high acid with vibrant carbonation, but lackluster flavor and body.
3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 notalush (3744) - Denver, Colorado, USA - MAR 3, 2012
Hazy raspberry colored pour - subtle nose of tart fruit skins and a tiny bit of spiciness - flavor has a lot more going on - tart, nearly sour, with moderate hibiscus and rose hip-ish acidity - earthy, nearly funky raspberry skin notes - peppery character on the tail end - lingering, dry, lightly tannic, mildly funky finish - quite good.
3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 talon1117 (1066) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - MAR 1, 2012
The beer pours a translucent, magenta color with a pale pink, pillowy, moderately full head which is somewhat lasting and leaves some scattered lace. The nose is pleasant but very simple, nice raspberry notes, some toasty vanilla notes, florals, and spicy ginger and cinnamon. The flavor is full of tart raspberry, still vanilla notes, earthy, florals, light toasted breads, and the ginger and cinnamon notes still. The palate is medium, nearly lively, and velvety, with a light dryness. The beer finishes tart with raspberries, vanilla and toasty caramel notes, and some earthy back notes. This brewery usually does great work, but this one was fairly pedestrian. The raspberry notes were nice but there was just not much else going on. Another reason to hate Valentine’s.

Tap @ Funkwerks. Light pinkish appearance with an off white head that’s just gorgeous. Quite floral, hibiscus, somewhat citrusy, light berry, a touch spicy aroma. Pretty tame flavor with notes of spices, yeast, straw, strawberries, light citrus, and flowers.
