The beer you are holding is unique. A special strain of yeast and a warm fermentation produces a beer of exceptional flavor and aroma. An extended secondary maturation and bottle conditioning ensures all these unique qualities are preserved and evolve over time. Serve at 50°F in a tulip glass.

What to expect
This tawny orange beer pours with a rocky white head. Aromas of passion fruit, tangerine, and black pepper hit the nose. Flavor is a cascade of orange, lemon verbena, ginger and pepper. And in a second it is gone, finishing with a dry and lingering bitterness that awaits another sip.

Distinct orange flavor, bready malts and some peppery yeast notes. Soft and pleasant with a brief dry finish. Session beer for sure. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

750 ml bottle from Rare Beer” club. Pours hazy golden with long lasting, foamy white head and nice lacing. Aroma is of fruit, spices and yeast. Body is medium and crisp. Funky yeast, spices, apricots and floral hops fill the mouth. Finish is long and spicy. Delicious brew.

Appearance: lemony yellow, lightly hazed, with a frothy, creamy, bright white head and tons of lace, nice threads of carb. Aroma: peppery and delicately sharp, with tart fruit (passion fruit, light pineapple, grapefruit, tangeringe), with an undertone of vanilla and almonds as it warms. Taste: juicy with fruit notes, yet somehow dry and spritzy like champagne, with pepper, citrus, and light wood. Finish: dry and bright, with zingy spice and tart fruit, then a lovely (and expected) yeasty saison funk undertone. Notes: A great example of the style. Would seek out others from this brewery based on this beer alone. Bottle from the Rare Beer Club.

Appearance: Pours a fairly hazy, pale golden body with a foamy, white head kept good and frothy by the stray streams of effervescence bubbling up from within.

Smell: Lightly sweetish, lightly creamyish notes of pilsner and wheat malt. Fresh, inviting blood orange and sweet lemon along with their fruity pals, grape, ’nana, and pear. Big pinch of coriander and fresh-ground black pepper pulling in a little noted earthiness.

Taste: Honeyish, cereal-sweet maltiness atop the doughy pils and soft wheat. Restrained sweetness. Snappy, sharp herbal notes cut with brightly acidic citrus juices and soon softened with spiced pear, banana and white grape. Soft yet lively finish, with final hints of herbs, fruit and piquant spices.

Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium-high carbonation.

Overall: Plenty of saison goodness to be had here, without the need to resort to spices or unwarranted alcohol levels. If only Philip Seymour Hoffman could have lived long enough to enjoy it. Pity.

Bottle. Yellow hazy pour with white head. Some year, spice and fruit aromas, hint of tartness. More tart influence on flavor, fruit and yeast other flavors, nt overly tart.
