Bursting with aromas of passion fruit, mango, and peach, our Imperial Saison is brewed using New Zealand Rakau hops. Combined with notes of pepper and ginger produced by our house yeast strain, Tropic King has a unique flavor that has gained it a loyal following.

The idea of an imperial saison is kind of stupid (hey, let’s take a saison and ruin everything great about it!) but this is a damn good Belgian strong ale. It’s an orange, cloudy brew w/ a foamy head. It’s nose is quite fruity w/ lots of pineapple especially but a little sweetness brings out a strong banana note when you taste it. This is light on the palate but quite creamy with solid earthy bitterness in the finish. This brewery really does some great work and this is one of their better ones.

Bottle at the Lincoln wine bar. A lovely beer. Fluffy white head on light gold pour. Delicate yeast flavors with light fruits, mostly peach. Peppery finish.

From 12oz bottle to tulip glass. Pour is a light yellow, thin fizzy head. Nose is tropical fruit, resin, ginger. Taste is kind of a battle of sweet and sour, light bodied. Finishes fizzy and lingers.

Pours a cloudy golden into the glass, with yeasty "floaties" swirling below a soapy, thick head that diminishes to ring lacing. The nose is of fresh stone fruits. Flavors of peaches, mango, orange and tangerine upfront with some nice hay and grains providing a nice mid-palate, and finishing with some pepper and ginger spice. The full body and juicy mouthfeel provide a substantial and complex palate. A staple hold for years at the brewery, this is a solid take on the Impy Saison. Great brew with lots of depth. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Sample from 75 cl. bottle. Hazy, amber-golden colour with a bubbly, white head. Fruity aroma with yeasts, spicy hints. Taste is lightly sweet. Medium body, creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes dry and fruity with grasses, citrus and yeasty notes. Nice Saison.
