On draft at the Buddha. Dark black pour with a creamy beige head. Good lacing and carbonation for this style. Aroma has hints of chocolate, cherry and I think I detect a faint peanut presence. Flavor isn’t overly cherry but it does make it’s presence know. The peanut flavor comes in a little towards the back end. A pretty delicious brew.

Draft… Pours mostly black with a small, creamy, taupe head. Decent retention. Smells a good bit like cherry cobbler to me – graham crust and all. Some nice roastiness as well. Full-bodied and creamy with tickling carbonation. Tastes like sweet cherry cobbler with a deeply roasted crust. Traces of spice and acidity. Too sweet for me – even for a milk porter/sweet stout. Finishes sweet with touches of bitterness and acidity. Top notch, but not sessionable as the sweetness becomes cloying and annoying. Definitely worth a try, but switch to something else after one glass. I did.
