AKA Cream Ale. Brewery Exclusive.

All hail the nitro cream ale, the devoted publican’s choice of session beers. Balanced, smooth, and made creamy by a delicious cascade of nitrogen, our cream ale is made for afternoon’s spent hiding out at the brewery. It’s brewed with flaked oats for a creamy, round mouthfeel, and lots of quality 2-row barley and English hops. Watch as that whipped cream head cascades down the side of the glass and get lost in its magic. Then order another.

On nitro at BRU for PBW. Pours a pale golden yellow color with a white foam head. Perhaps a brownish orange hue mixed in to give it that authentic cream soda color. True to its name, it is very creamy. Vanilla and slight grass on the nose. Creamy vanilla taste with hints of citrus fruit and dough. Tasty.

Pours yellow gold with a thick creamy white head and a nice cascade from the nitro. Aroma is whipped cream and vanilla. Taste is interesting up front with vanilla and hops. The transformation begins in the mid palate when the toasty malts combine with the hoppy bitterness and the vanilla. Amazing finish, and a truly creamy ale throughout. Probably one of the more complex beers I’ve had.

Pours clear dark straw yellow with a big creamy head. The aroma is perfect - sweet vanilla cream drink. Flavor brings with sweet vanilla and light tones of not quite lemon curd on a decently creamy body

Glass at Bru pours golden hazy with creamy white head, small to medium nice lace as is tradition with cream ales. Notes are vanilla water, cream ale, malt, dough and toasted grains. Finishes like some vanilla cake. Pretty good, def interesting.

Draft @ Funky Buddha. Pourspale golden amber with a small creamy off white head leaving nice lacing. Aroma is malty fruity grainy, a bit wesk. Flavor is slightly sweet bitter malty a bit floral and fruity. Finishes dryish bitter.

Draft… Lightly hazed, deep golden ale with a mid-sized, pillowy, white head. Fantastic retention. Worty, gristy, creamed corn aroma – hey, smells like a cream ale. Medium-bodied with lively carbonation. The flavor is grainy, but very decently balanced. More grist and wort characteristics here. Finishes crisp lightly sweet and just a touch corny. Flawlessly brewed to style; but hey, it’s a cream ale. Genesee Cream Ale would be jealous. Anderson Valley Cerveza Crema would not.

On draft at the Buddha, special Thursday night tapping. Texture is nice and smooth, cream would definitely be the word to use here. Aroma has slight hints of vanilla, cream, and possibly a little bit of brown sugar. Another one that is very easy to drink.
