COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This poundable session IPA is brewed with 2-row barley and a touch of caramel malt for depth, accented with loads and loads of late-addition Citra hops. The hops provide an IPA-sized dose of intensely fruity hop aroma without an overly bitter finish.

Draft at Churchkey. Cloudy pale yellow color. Aroma of fruity citrus. Taste is bitter lemongrass. OK.

1 litre growler poured a hazy gold with a small lingering white head. Aromas of bread, earthiness, light grapefruit and light pine. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a smooth dry finish. Flavors of bread, earthiness and light pine with a smooth dry bitter lingering earthy finish.

Draft... Cloudy brilliant-orange ale with a mid-sized, fizzy, white head. Decent retention. The bouquet includes juicy, wet, centennial hops and a pleasant, grainy, toasted barley component. Light-bodied with biting carbonation. This is loaded with wet centennial hop flavor without blasting my taste buds with heavy hop bitterness. Finishes crisp, moderately bitter and grassy. Crazy drinkable and nicely balanced for an American-style IPA. Tons of hop flavor without the normally associated, heavy bitterness is why I prefer harvest-time IPAs over those brewed the other eleven months of the year.

My Bottom Line:
Ginger-like fruity spiciness is found within starkly citrusy fruitiness in this quenching, delicate Pale Ale.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A sheet of foam covers the misty golden shine.
-The finish promotes even more citrus and ginger; bitterness is very subdued.
-The citrusy component is redolent of starfruit and citrus candy.
-Cereal flavours are lightly honeyed and build up mostly in the second half of each sip.
-Carbonate this naturally and serve it from a hand pump and you’ve got a replica of many UK Golden Ales.
-This is one of those rare beers which actually works wonderfully when served at cold temperatures. The citrusy fruitiness is still very present and increases the refreshment factor. The bitterness is minimal anyway, so there are no clashing moments in the finish. Just refreshment.

Fresh growler.

Growler thanks to Randall! Pours a clear golden orange with a near white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has notes of earthy citrus with backing notes of cake batter and sweet grains. Flavor has a strong malt profile with a bit of a cake batter note with and earthy but sweet citrus finish.

Ft. Lauderdale, Fl. - on tap at the Funky Buddha Tap Room. Medium copper pour, slightly hazy, soft white head. Decent floral aroma with some spruce accents. Flavor has a nice subtle bitterness to it with some muted citrus undertones, light caramel, a bit of nuttiness and just a hint of mint. Mouthfeel is full and nicely textured. Good session material.

Golden color with a small, white head that left light. Lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, pine, floral hops, toffee malts. Taste of toasted malts, grass, citrus, tropical fruits, buttery toffee, grapefruit finish.

4oz pour at Churchkey DC pours a hazy gold with some sudsy, white head. Nose is nice and grassy, chivey notes, mild malt, mild pine. Flavor is solid, malty, chivey, grassy, mild onion patch, mild soap, a little lemon tea. Clean, soft finish.

Draft at Churchkey during DC Craft Beer Week. Thanks to solidfunk. Poured a slightly hazy golden color with a small white head. Aroma was some light citrus notes, touch of pine, armpit? Flavor was light pine, armpit sweat, not my favorite, but easy to drink.

Smells like bongwater. Outside of that major flaw, a very light and sessionable AIPA. On tap, Proof Production facility with LuckyDog.
