COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A malty red ale that pops with pleasantly fruity undertones, chock full of whole raspberries and just enough habanero peppers to create a pleasant tingle in your throat. You’ve got sweet, fruity, caramel-y, spicy all in one package - it’s like jam for your jelly, baby.

On tap at Mikkeller and Friends. Cloudy red amber with a lasting white head. An interesting aroma with raspberry, bready malt and green pepper blending together. Sweet fruity and malty flavour with raspberry and green pepper, and a medium hot finish. Not bad for a chili beer

From tap. Pours dark brown to black with a small tan head. Aroma is chili and raspberry fruity. Dry, herbal, chili and toasted malty. Dry and lingering herbal. Bitter and spiced herbal finish.

Pours cloudy brown with low tan head. Aroma of raspberries, light caramel. Taste is light raspberry tart followed by a rich habanero finish. Odd, and yuk. Body is light and smooth with soft carbonation.

Pours murky brown with a low white head. Aromas of caramel, apple, rye bread, spices. Taste is quite sweet with moderate bitterness. Towards the end some pleasant chili notes. Mouthfeel is light bodied with medium carbonation.

With Joe and Keith at Cambridge, Fire truck red pour with no lace or head. Candy Raspberry up front then all habanero fire. Coats the tongue with habanero fire astringency. Fire in the butthole is a better name. The Pepper heat will get ya, yo.

Draft at the Gnarly Barley. Pours clear dark reddish brown with a fizzy beige head. Tastes like spice, hot pepper, cranberry, raspberry, and the heat keeps building. Light body and low carbonation. Smells like sweet raspberry jam, and some peppery spice.

Fflight pour on tap at the brewery (Oakland. Park, FL). Pours a deep blood red crimson hue, a subtle haziness but largely a darker rich reddish color. A gorgeous color and subtle frothy filmy layer that dies down quickly, laces skantily. Aromas are a bit toasty, carmelized and peppery. Earthy and warming heat flare the nostrils with seedy raspberry, jabs of chiles, and a bit of earthiness. Interesting mix. Initial is lighter bodied for the look, a bit metallic and caremlized with an earthy appeal, gentle raspberry and earthy bitter hops. A touch of heat starts to grow on the palate from the first sip, some toasty, biscuity and subtle chocolate malts, the raspberry falls behind as earth, subtle bitterness and a slow but steady peppery appeal grow. Backend is dry, a bit toasty, the peppery heat growing to a firm warmth that compliments well, occasionally makes oen think a bit more. Warm, peppery and lingering, a gentle fire with earthy malts. Interesting combo, fruit falls far behind and never really offers much. Still the base allows the pepper to grow slowly, display well overall.
