COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A malty red ale that pops with pleasantly fruity undertones, chock full of whole raspberries and just enough habanero peppers to create a pleasant tingle in your throat. You’ve got sweet, fruity, caramel-y, spicy all in one package - it’s like jam for your jelly, baby.

4oz pour at Churchkey DC pours a very murky, ruddy amber with a creamy ring of white head. Nose has a bunch of sriracha and raspberry, some sweet and sour sauce, hot sauce and apples. Flavor is like... sriracha, grapes, apple notes, some roasted red pepper, a little red pepper jelly. Finishes lightly acidic, lightly peppery. Kind of cool.

Draft at Churchkey during DC Craft Beer Week. Poured a clear ruby red color with a small off-white head. Aroma was some raspberries, with some hot pepper skins. Flavor was hot habanero, with some raspberries. Heat comes through, but is pretty enjoyable. Very tasty and more subtle than many chile beers.

Draft at Churchkey. Murky brown color. Beautiful aroma of forest berry medley. Taste is tart berries, pepper flesh and light head. I didn’t think this combo would work, but it sure does.

Lots of evident habanero here with a good raspberry body. Finishes spicy and tangy. Pours clear maroon. Average carbonation. Thanks to radagast83 for a taste of this at the tap feature event at Churchkey.

Unique. Facile à boire. Je suis un fan des expériences travaillées.

On tap at Funky Buddha in Oakland Park, FL. Pours a dark red brown with a beige head and aroma of Chillies, raspberries and malt. Taste is sweet, fruit and malt and strong chile peppers, hot notes into the finish. Palate is hot and spicy. A strange but different desert beer.

On draft at Cajun Cafe Fall Beer Fest. Pours a deep amber color with a white head. Nose is deep roasted jalapeno/ habanero peppers with some sweet malt and sweet berry. Flavor is similar- interesting blend of fruity, earthy peppers, vegetal notes, and malt. Finished with some heat from the peppers and some lingering burn. Medium in body and an outstanding pepper beer.

Pour from a growler. Wanted to share this at Darkness Day but there was just so many things being opened, I never got a chance to crack it. Very interesting beer. If you like raspberry jalapeño jam this is right up your ally. Slight veggie nose from the pepper and lots of earthy raspberry. Clear purple pour with a little head on it. Taste is a nice blend of raspberry and pepper heat, though the pepper is winning more as my glass warms up. Fun to try. A growler is a lot to go through for one person though - glad its a swing top!

Growler. Pours a dark red color with a small creamy beige head. Nose is fruity and peppery., and well balanced. Taste is definitely peppery with some nice heat and more subdued fruit. Finish is peppery, with a long ’ hot ’ finish, with subtle sweetness breaking through . Finally a habanero beer that lives up to its name. Not for everyone ! Quaff Score 8 / 10
