Keg at the Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2014, red session. 03/05/2014. Aroma is huge sweet, mapel syrup, raspberry jam and cinammon. Clear amber coloured pour with a halo of off white head. Flavour is sweet, mapel syrup, blackberry jam and light toasted malts. Palate is full and sticky sweet.

Had on tap at the brewery. Serious maple cinnamon French toast treat. Dark oily black color but fairly thin mouth feel for such a chewy smelling beer. It was delicious but I can’t imagine drinking more than a couple in one sitting - too dessert like.

Growler @ RBSG 2014 Grand Tasting. Thanks to Derek for sharing. Brown in color with a small khaki head. Smells like maple syrup, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Tons of toasted bread, some mild cocoa, and some vanilla. Flavor is pretty much exactly like syrup and french toast. Tons of maple syrup and toasted bread. Nice cinnamon and nutmeg. Slight vanilla and chocolate. Good stuff, if not a bit of a novelty.

Growler during RBSG 2014 Grand Tasting at Schlafly Tap Room. Dark brown amber with off-white head. Aromas of caramel, syrup, cinnamon. Tastes of cinnamon, caramel, syrup. Medium body with a dry finish. Pretty close to Cigar City’s version.

This one found its way over to me at the grand tasting, RBSG, 2014. Pours an amber-brown color with almost no head. Notes of cinnamon, brown sugar, banana, apple - sweet and toasty throughout. Light-medium bodied, with moderate to medium carbonation and a spicy, malty mouthfeel. Replicates the French toast experience pretty impressively. Fun novelty brew.

On tap at CBC 2014. Clear brown with white head. Aroma and taste is exactly just that - french toast. Also; oak, lightly smoked, rum, alcohol and metal

This is something of a novelty--OK, it is purely a novelty--but it does at least succeed at what it is trying to be. It is a beer that smells and tastes exactly like french toast. I like that just fine and all, aside from the thin texture, but, really who drinks this shit? If it was made by MillerCoors, everyone would rate it a 2.8. There, I said it.

Growler thanks to Alex. Pours a near clear brown with a light brown head with a tan head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma really has a french toast note with maple, cinnamon and sweet grains. Flavor is similar with lots of maple and sweet grains backed with a bit of bite from the cinnamon.
