Brewed at Funky Buddha, only served at Anthony’s Pizza.

Every great pizza pie deserves a great beer to go with it, so Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza teamed up with Fort Lauderdale’s own Funky Buddha Brewery to brew our own: Fuhgeddaboudit Red Ale. This fiery-red Italian-American ale is crafted with a blend of European barley and English hops. Flavorful enough to balance out the intense crunch of coal fired crust, but also refined enough pair with delicate San Marzano tomato sauce, Fuhgeddaboudit Red Ale is the perfect complement to pizza, coal oven chicken wings, pork ribs, or any of your favorite dishes at Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza.

Poured a copper color with aromas of malt, light caramel, some light nuts. flavors match the aromas, decent but nothing special. A basic amber beer that would be decent with some fresh pizza.

Draft... Pours clear and new-penny copper with a small, fizzy, white head. The nose is restrained, but does provide light notes of toffee, caramel and toasted tree nuts. Medium to full-bodied with tickling carbonation. The flavor is super malty, but well-balanced and bright, supplying caramel, some nuttiness and a lightly bitter, grassy finish.

On Tap at Anthonys in Pompano Beach, FL. Pours a ckear red with a fast to go off white head. Aroma is sweet fruit and Malt. The taste comes out a bit drier but same as the arome. Palate is smooth and a well made beer.
