COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
"You can be my wingman anytime." -Iceman

In a veritable sea of India Pale Ales, what does it take to leap out from the rest? To us, the answer is Hop Gun IPA. Lift a pint – from first sniff to last sip, our flagship IPA drinks like an ode to hoppy goodness. Galena, Cascade, and Nelson Sauvin hops burst forth with an unmistakably heady aroma. Flavors of grapefruit, honey, melon, and pineapple mingle with a malt body that balances caramel and biscuit character with a pronounced dry finish.

Pairing Suggestions: Washed rind cheeses, chipotle chicken wings, Thai red curry, hoisin-glazed roast duck, Moroccan-spiced lamb chops, fresh-baked cherry pie.

Thanks to Thirsty_Moe on the growler. A lot of tropical fruits and biscuity smells. Taste really matches the aroma. A sharp bitterness hits the tongue on first sip. Very unique being quite hoppy and still very quenching and refreshing. Good stuff.

5/9/15. On tap at new Proof. Orange pour with a nice khaki head, good lacing. Nice aroma, light citrus, mild dankness, some malts poking through. Great flavor, not too bitter or sweet, citrus, pine, dank, flavorful, not too much malt getting in the way. Tasty!

12 oz bottle. Tasted on 5/11/15. Bottle courtesy of Luis V. The nose has a nice citrus & light floral note to it. The taste is smooth & has a good hop bite to it. The finish lingers with a fair amount of bitterness & was very easy to drink. Overall a good IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: MAY 13, 2015 Lightly hazed orange pour with white head and lace. Aroma of bready malt and citrus hops. Flavor is semi sweet malt start with a solid rich citrus hop finish. Medium body with good carbonation. Well balanced with a kick.

12oz bottle. No code date. Appearance: Golden and slightly hazy, with a thick white foam head that holds nicely. Aroma: Typical citrus but not very strong. Hints of melon and grass. Taste: Sweet toasted and caramel malt, leading into a sharp citrus bitterness with some grassy, pineapple hop notes. Mouthfeel: medium with moderate carbonation and a hint of alcohol warmth. Finish: Sweet malty finish with lingering grassy bitterness. Overall: A nice, easy drinking IPA. Aroma seemed a little subdued and the flavor didn’t really stand out from others, but I’d drink it again.

Bottle poured a dark golden color with a thin coating of white head. Aroma has citrus, resins, pines, some sweet malts, and a bit of flowers. Mouth feel is medium with good carbonation. Flavor has a punch of hops, citrus, resins, pines, but has malt to balance it out.

Thanks to fritz123 for this gem. Pours a clear apricot color with a thick head. Aroma is piney hops with sweet malts. Flavor is more sweet bready malts, and thick caramel, but the hops give it a nice balance. Definitely an east coast ipa bordering on an imperial. Very enjoyable

A very nice IPA, big aromas of hoppy grapefruit, what I like best here though is that it’s really well balanced with malt, and moreover, has elements that span from citrus to herbal to juicy melon, to slight cookie. The finish is not bitter but inviting. A little strong but worth it.
