COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
"You can be my wingman anytime." -Iceman

In a veritable sea of India Pale Ales, what does it take to leap out from the rest? To us, the answer is Hop Gun IPA. Lift a pint – from first sniff to last sip, our flagship IPA drinks like an ode to hoppy goodness. Galena, Cascade, and Nelson Sauvin hops burst forth with an unmistakably heady aroma. Flavors of grapefruit, honey, melon, and pineapple mingle with a malt body that balances caramel and biscuit character with a pronounced dry finish.

Pairing Suggestions: Washed rind cheeses, chipotle chicken wings, Thai red curry, hoisin-glazed roast duck, Moroccan-spiced lamb chops, fresh-baked cherry pie.

A very mild IPA. A bit of toasty malt is perhaps stronger than the hops. Slight candied sweetness.

Hop Gun IPA has a thick, off-white head, an opaque, brilliant orange appearance, and a bit of lacing left behind on the glass. The aroma is of citrus and white bread, and the flavor is that citrus-style hop oil, riding with sweet white bread and white bread crust in the back seat. Mouthfeel is medium, and Hop Gun finishes puckering and dry. RJT

Sampled at the brewery. Some copper in this golden beer. A little bit of white head. Grainy first sip. Sourness follows quickly. Moderate bitterness. Citrus and syrupy fruit. Melon, grapefruit, and pineapple with stone fruit. Nicely done.

Hazy, copper pour with a white head. The aroma has pine and citrus notes. It has medium texture with average carbonation. The taste is bittersweet with an easy finish.

Tasted from bottle. Pours a hazy copper with white head. Great strong aroma of melon, grapefruit, pineapple, caramel and toffee. Flavor is moderately sweet with a mild to moderate bitterness. A little too malt forward on the taste. Flavors of caramel, toffee, earth, and melon. Overall an average to above average IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Good IPA, not too west-coast, thankfully (of course it is brewed on the east coast). Fun bitter snap. Very fruitful, nice balance. Thanks Bernie.

This beer lacked what I look for in an American IPA. No beautiful aroma and way too much malty taste. Not flavor in the middle. Pretty much on the wrong side of mediocre. Caramel. Not smooth. Kind of cloying on the palate. Old perhaps as no date was visible which I hate. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
