COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Sometimes you want to drink an IPA that will melt your teeth, and sometimes you want balance. We went for balance here. Although we continuously hopped this beer for an hour and the IBU’s are nearly 90, we leveled it out with a healthy does of Marris Otter and caramel malts.

Hazy amber. Thin head. Not much hop aroma. Hop bitterness and toasty malt are not seamless, and that’s all I’m getting from this beer.

Draft: Poured a nice caramel brown with a creamy off white head. Aroma is sweet but hoppy. Taste was nice bitter hops but balanced just right with a malty finish.

Tap. Moderate malt and hop notes of roasted and caramel, pine and orange rind, light soap for the yeast, with dried fruit and melon in the background. Head is average size, creamy, slightly off-white with excellent lacing and is mostly lasting. Color is slightly hazy light amber/orange. Flavor starts slightly sweet and lightly to moderately acidic, then finishes lightly acidic and moderately bitter. Palate is medium, watery and has a lively carbonation. This IPA hits the mark for the style, and is a good one to come back to.

My first FB! Thank you maltzilla!!! Dark honey color, stable cap and some nice scattered lace. Aroma is very resinous with slight band-aid. Soft palate. Rustic and funky with lots of deep resinous hop character. Silky with lots of solid malt sweetness and agave. Lots of character. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

My Bottom Line :
Juicy hop resins abound in this robust India Pale Ale, building coniferous bitterness and impolite merriment.

Further Personal Perceptions :
-A veil of foam covers the cloudy pale amber gold.
-Citrus fruit are also developed by the generous American hop varieties.
-The soft carbonation and lean residual sugars make this quite drinkable; it almost feels like a real ale.
-There is not much malt definition, but this is not the point with this brew, I presume.
-With a better polished aroma, this would be fantastic.

On tap at the brewpub.

Growler shared by pineypower. Poured a deep dark amber body with a soapy bubbly off white head. Aroma of tropical fruits, citrus and earthy rind. Full bodied with a full mouthfeel, lots of carbonation and a dry bitter finish. Flavor is very dry with harsh citrus rind, alcohol, super dry bread crusts. You better like dry beers or else you’ll hate this one.
