Got a bottle from a trade. Thanks Thirsty Moe. Pours a dark dark black with a lightly browned bubbly head. An absolutely fantastic aroma of cinnamon coffee laced with coconut. Reminds me of walking into a donut shop in the early morning for coffee before work. A good feeling. A nice roasty coffee right upfront that goes along the whole way. Cinnamon and coconut jumps in the middle and give it a nice sweetness. Great taste. A tad thinner as I would hope for a little heavier creamy feel. Still doesn’t take away from the this one that much. Great stuff.

Bottle: Thanks, Kevin. Dark brown pour with a slightly creamy beige head that slowly settles to a thin, foamy collar & mild skin. Smells like someone threw a coconut bomb into an IHOP restaurant. Sweet coconut, dark chocolate, notes of cake batter, cinnamon, a hint of roast. Dunno why I’m getting the pancake vibe... But it’s there. Coconutty & cakey. Flavor has a nice Mounds vibe; heavy waft of coconut oil with a semisweet dark chocolate essence that cascades over it. Notes of roast, fudge, toasted almonds, & dry caramel lead into a cacao nib & toasted coconut shaving finish. Somewhat thin body, but overall this is tasty as hell.

22oz bottle in a teku. Pours dark brown with a beige head. Aroma of coconut, dark malts, some chocolate and coffee, light dough, and hints of bitterness. Flavor the same with a nice blend of coconut and the porter. Average texture. A very solid beer.

Brown pour, almost like a brown ale. Very thin and watery mouthfeel. Aroma is on point for what the beer is supposed to be: coffee, vanilla and coconut shavings. Tasts like an almond joy bar. The lack of viscosity is a disservice and it doesn’t coat the tongue and the flavors run away to quicky. It is a nice gimmicky beer as is normal with FB but definitely over-hyped to the max.
