Coffee Porter.
Evoking a complete diner-style breakfast in a glass, Maple Bacon Coffee Porter is a complex beer with a multitude of flavors at play. It pours an opaque ebony brew with a frothy tan head. Aromas of sticky maple syrup, coffee, and cream creep forth from the glass. The mouth feel is luxuriously creamy, with layers of sweet malt, toffee, and roast giving way to waves of smoke, coffee, and salted chocolate. It finishes sticky, rich, and sweet, with the flavor of maple syrup lingering pleasantly on the tongue.

UPDATED: JAN 20, 2014 Growler @ The Bruery, shared by Sam. Black pour with a khaki head. Aroma lives up to the name. Smells like smokey bacon and maple syrup. Notes of vanilla, chocolate, and plenty of coffee and roasted malt. Lots of caramel, too. Flavor is slightly bitter, but has plenty of maple, vanilla, and caramel sweetness. Smoke, coffee, and bitter dark chocolate. Actually pretty good.

Dark brown, aroma has a lot of maple, quite a bit of coffee. Sweet coffee taste, subtle hint of maple, sweet chocolate, pretty good balance. Not the tire fire I was expecting. You really gotta like maple, as it comes out a lot and there’s a ton of coffee late.
