Draft at FB, Off, buttery, this brings me right back to WI. I have no idea how you could make a beer this crappy and actually sell it. Disturbingly off, burnt sour buttery infection. This beer really sucks, certainly doesn’t get the job done. This is the kind of crap you’d expect from a small system brewery. Bad.

Not a complicated beer, but it says that in the beers description. It is a easy drinking beer for when you do not care what you are drinking.

Draught, pale yellow golden, soft white head. Nose is grainy cleanser and light malt. Sunny pils malt with heavy grass and bready after. For such a light body, surprised at how much flavor it packs. Touch of yeast spice under the lagery crispness.

Draft at brewer. Pale yellow with a tiny white head. Scent lightly sweet malt and corn. Taste is sweet malts and grainy.

On draft at the buddha, poured a staw color, a hint of citrus, wheat and straw flavorr. Nothing too exciting like description, but a nice sessionable beer.

On draft at Funky Buddha. Pours hazy dark straw color with a white head. Nose is citrus, banana, clove, and lemon. Flavor is similar- lots of wonderfully blended lemon, banana, citrus, and sweetness. I could drink gallons of this, and this is their lightest beer. Very enjoyable beer.

Tap pour sampled outside the brewpub adjacent to the parking lot and amid lots of hip ‘too cool for school’ cigarette smokers. It poured up pale gold with a medium level of opacity and thin white head. The aroma offers up grainy malts, a dash of lemon, wheat and banana. The taste starts with a mild pulse of carbonation pushing up notes of spicy hops, some apple, pear and then a thin layer of sweet banana. It smooths out nicely by midway and into the finish. I also get a touch of lemon that helps close the deal. Very nice full flavored and fully drinkable brew.

Straw yellow with a super foamy white head. Aroma of corn and tad bit of pale malt. On the light side of medium bodied. Not much flavor here to speak of but I guess that is what they were going for. Compairs favorably to macro lagers.

Bottle… Mostly clear golden ale with very little head to speak of… there is a little white ring that clings endlessly to the glass at the top of the pour. Maybe it’s the bagpipe of blueberry/pink lemonade infused tobacco I’m smoking, but I can’t smell anything at all here. Inoffensive, at least. Medium-bodied with tingly carbonation. Well-balanced flavor… well, the brew is well-balanced anyway... referring to it’s lack of any real essence as “flavor” is a bit of a stretch. Finishes minerally and very modestly bitter. This is one of the rare occasions when I am able to say that the beer wasn’t served quite cold enough... so, I will. “This beer wasn’t served quite cold enough.” Unfortunately, this will probably out-sell most of their other excellent offerings. Not bad for what it is. Well-crafted, but who really cares?
