Draft… Pours black with a mid-sized, creamy, khaki head. The nose provides big-time coffee grounds and moderate milk chocolate with a hint of vanilla. Medium-bodied and silky with tickling carbonation. Great balance – leans only mildly bitter. Huge deep-roast coffee flavor with a less significant facet of dark chocolate. Roasty, lightly bitter, acrid finale.

On draft at the Buddha for their special Thursday night release. I think I walked into this one thinking "southern tier mokah" which wasn’t the case at all with this one. Definitely mocha, coffee, and chocolate in the nose but not over the top sugary sweet that Southern Tier Mokah is. It’s a very good beer, once it warms up a bit the flavors really come out.
