“Make the long night shorter, Forgetting not, Good stout old English Porter.” — R. H. Messenger

Luscious and silky smooth with a body to match, OP Porter is uncompromisingly rich yet surprisingly drinkable. A complex blend of dark malts and real milk sugar creates the bold flavors of dark roast coffee mingling with farm fresh cream. For the stout and porter lover in each of us, OP is a knockout.

Pairing suggestions: Cave-aged Bleu cheese, arancini with veal ragu, roast pork with gravy, bacon burger with fried egg and cheddar cheese, molten chocolate cake.

Poured from a mini growler. Pours a dark brown with a few bubbles. Has a chocolate and sort of maple syrup smell to it. Taste is similar with some roasted malt tones. Pretty solid.

Poured a dark brown, with roasted malt, choclate, and sweet milk as the aromas. Flavors follow the aroma, with a nice chocolaty milk flavor in the middle, and a light sweetness at the end that made me wanting more.

Growler shared with Rustyham. Pours a dark brown with a two fingers tan head. Aroma of milk and dark chocolate. Medium bodied with a creamy mouthfeel. Flavor of dark roasted malts, milk chocolate, and nutty malts, but finishes hoppy. The bitterness is almost soapy, and distracting.

Deep brown to black, big eggshell head. Aroma is milk, sugar, creamy, chocolate and roast. Unfortunately, it quickly drops off into a soapy hoppiness, I am not too pleased with that, but it is a matter of 80% vs 20%. on tap at funky buddha

Growler thanks to cruisan!!! This has got to be the best porter that I have had since the Covey Aduro Porter. poured black with a cream colored head. aroma and flavor were bursting with a nice balanced roastiness followed by some bitter baking cocoa and chocolate. the body was light-medium with a soft fizzy carbonation that smothered my tongue with flavor. Simply amazing!! They should start bottling this. Another florida brewery that is knocking it out of the water!!

growler, thank you Ryan and my awesome girlfriend. pours with about a finger of head, thankfully... these medicine bottle growlers are iffy. black as night with tiny creamy carbonation. Nose is Holy roasty! and then you get a bit of the porter creaminess, chocolate etc that you expect from a porter. If you can get past the roast, it smells just like a porter should. I like roasty, but this smells like it may be a bit over the top. ok, before taste, i have to talk about mouthfeel... this explodes in my mouth, the carbonation is simply amazing. so small, yet so incredibly explosive on the palate. Even after being in growler. only complaint would be that is a bit, thin, but it seems to work. easy to drink, and thicker would be just... weird. anyway, on to the taste, roasty is subdued, it is not as in your face as the nose is, which is great. The chocolate comes out a bit, and is balanced by a nice sweetness from what I am guessing is a health helping of lactose, with a hint of bitter finish. near the middle a sweet vanilla creeps in right after the chocolate dies down. Man, as much as the hype has given this place, this is my second brew from them, and I hate to say it, but this porter was damn good. It is one of the best porters I have had, and I have had a ton.

Mini growler thanks to my Uncle! Black. Tan head. Nose of coffee, roast chocolate malt and vanilla. Taste of same with lactose sweetness. Full body. Nice burnt roast flavor mixed with the lactose.
