On tap. Small sample from b3shine’s glass. Cloudy yellow color. No head or lace. Amazing huge tropical passionfruit aroma. Maybe the most awesome fruity aroma I’ve ever smelled, definitely the best from any berliner weisse. Super big. Mild tart taste, very much like fruit juice. Medium body, very light carbonation, dry finish. Awesome, hugely fruity berliner.

On draft. Looks good; a hazy lemon with thin white lacing. Smells and tastes good too; tart and wheaty with a nice passionfruit and grapefruit presence. Good on the palate. Great stuff!

Draft at Funky Buddha. Snifter. Light yellow with slight orange hue and very hazy. Very thin off-white head. Nose is the citrus punch of passion fruit and grapefruit. The sour Brett hits the nose as well. The taste is strong citrus of passion fruit, grapefruit and slight peach. The mouth is smashed by the tartness of the combined citrus and souring process. Very light and refreshing.

Draft at Bainbridge. Poured a light and cloudy yellow. THe first couple pours were crazy bright but as more pours came out the color lightened substantially. Aroma of lactose, funk and some fresh juices. The taste is very fresh juices - passionfruit, fresh pineapple, mangoes with a tart funky cheese finish. Really tasty.

Aroma of skunky weed, rhubarb, passionfruit, and apricot. Pours hazy melon with no fizz. Taste is tart and wonderful with passionfruit and underripe nectarines. Clean finish with slight bread. Wonderful.

Bottle shared by Thorpe429. Thanks Mike. I was pretty excited to try this beer and it did not disappoint. The beer is hazy and yellow hued with a small and fleeting head. The aroma is fantastic. Mouth watering scents of passion fruit and a nice, light funky aspect. The flavor, while perhaps a step down from the aroma, is still quite excellent. Again, passion fruit dominates. Light bodied with a mild tartness. Utterly chuggable. Highly recommended. Serving type: bottle Reviewed on: 03-18-2012

UPDATED: DEC 2, 2012 Draft at Redlight. Hazy yellow pour with a small bubbly white head. Aroma is fantastic sherbet, tropical fruits, mango, pineapple, slightly salty and some yeast skunk. Flavor is huge complex tropical fruit, peaches, pineapple, mango with hints of salt and pils malt in the end. Lively carbonation and a medium light body. Great beer and refresher.

On-tap at FB 7/20, served in tulip A: Pours a super cloudy beige color with a small white cap. Looks like grapefruit juice S: Tart and ripe passionfruit dominates the nose. Super acidic, this will be sour! T: Passionfruit, super sour passionfruit. Mouth puckering sourness P/O: Super tart and a little dry. Lower carbonation and a good feel to it. Heartburn central. One of the most sour beers I’ve consumed, but also very delicious.
