"A schnozberry? Who ever heard of a schnozberry?" -Veruca Salt

To make this fruited hefeweizen, we use over a pound of real, whole fruit raspberries per gallon. Because we use real fruit, it’s bright red and is full of tart raspberry flavor, with a crisp finish that’s not overly sweet. No extracts, no fillers, no fuss. Cheers!

Draft. Nose is super fruity with berry notes. Pour is pinkish red with a small white head. Taste is slightly sweet with a moderate to strong fruitiness. Nice

On tap at Funky Buddha poured a hazy pink with a small lingering off white head. Aromas of bread, raspberry and light citrus. Palate was light bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of bread, raspberry and a hint of spice with a smooth dry lingering raspberry finish.

Des framboises acidulés sur un lit de blé cru pour un liquide simplet mais efficace et surtout hautement rafraîchissant.

Pour from growler, thanks to brystmar, 08/08/2013. Strawberry pink pour, thin white head dies quickly, yet fizzy carbonation continues to spring forth. Aroma is one note: juicy, seedy raspberry, light tartness, with wheat rounding things out a bit. Taste has raspberry toned down slightly, but still dominant, with subtle banana notes and nice wheat finish, clean. Light, bright body, refreshing. Decent, glad to have tried.

Big raspberry aroma; weak looking pour for a hef. Palate is reasonably viscous, but the taste disappoints. An aroma beer if there ever was one.

Red pour, pinkish hued head. Raspberry seeds, raspberry jam, wheat and yeast. Sweet-tart finishing. Refreshing.

Growler thanks to Matt! Pours red with a touch of amber, large pink head, fizzy with decent lacing. Aroma is raspberry, wheat, lemon. Flavor is the same, light sweet, light tart. Light body. A nice effort.

UPDATED: JUL 3, 2013 Brilliant ruby red and clear color, looks delicious. Not as big of a fan of the flavor...slightly medicinal and sort of an extract flavor. Would have liked a more tart, crisp raspberry flavor. Overall drinkable but doesn’t stand up to the robust flavors of some of FB other brews.

On draft at Funky Buddha Brewery. Nice ruby red color with little to no head. Nice raspberry tart aroma mixed with some wheat and slight hops. Very true to the hefe style but with the added kick of raspberries. Very drinkable and damn tasty!

On draft at the Buddha. From the first whiff I could tell this was less of a Hefe and more a sour. The aroma was pretty much all raspberries with a nice sour tartness. Flavor was sort of wheaty but more sour then anything. Very good none the less.
