Funky Buddha Lounge in Boca Raton (made on site.) I’ve had this before but the most recent batch was the best. Pours a very thick, opaque deep brown with a moderate white head. The aroma is like walking into a Jewish Deli in NYC while they are breaking rye bread. No joke. Serious rye. Also bread, cereal, malts, musty hops. The taste is a rye bomb with cereal, bread, and grassy/piney hops. Medium body, rye finish is slightly bitter. Really very good.

On draft at Funky Buddha, poured a dark cloudy orange color with subtle notes of citrus and huge aromas of fresh baked rye bread. Flavors were all rye, tasted unlike any rye beer I have ever had, to me it tasted like I was eating a whole loaf of rye bread, an amazing beer.

Draft... Hazy dirty-orange ale with a large, frothy, white head. Good retention. The bouquet is too restrained to pull anything at first. Finally, subtle nuances of citric hops and grainy rye come through. Medium-bodied and lightly coarse with dancing carbonation. The flavor displays excellent balance. It’s citrusy, spicy and mildly acrid. Short, crisp, mildly bitter finish

On draft at the Buddha. This was a recipe created by Morgan, one of the employees that works there. Good hoppy floral aroma mixed with a just a tad of citrus/grapefruit. Flavor has hints of rye and earthy tones. Very easy to drink and quite relaxing. Good job Morgan!
