Bottled. Dark amber. Sweet and toffeeish. Fairly malty with soft, but mellow and syrupy mouthfeel. Low bitterness. Lacks hops and malt firmness.

Bottle. Fluffy high off-white head. Clear amber body. Sweet and fruity malt aroma. Strong alcohol dominated flavor with much carbon dioxide.

bierkoning (8109) - La Tropica, NETHERLANDS - FEB 26, 2008
Bottle from Maria, thanks! Orange brown color. grainy aroma with hints of alcohol. Grainy, alcoholic flavor, perfumed, with bubblegum. Hints of toffee. Sticky mouthfeel. Not really good, although it grows on you.

TaxiDriver (1372) - Stadland, GERMANY - DEC 29, 2008
Bottle. Sweet and strong malty smell, the alcohol is also there. The head is very small, fizzy and dark white, very fast disappearing. The body is dark red. The taste is very malty, bitter and quite long staying. Not much carbonation, medium body and dry.

deyholla (3528) - Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA - NOV 24, 2009
Bottle. Poured a light amber with an eggshell head. Aroma was near nonexistent except for a few sweet malt notes and a touch of alcohol. Flavor was quite basic with some malts that gave a bit of a hay/bread flavor. Quite thin on the tongue.

50cl bottle. Amber colour. Some fruit was present in the nose. Taste is for a Bock beer not exciting enough. I would expect more.

Amber, red tones. No head. Quite sweet and malty. Thin flavour. Nothing special, actually quite boring and average.

Well, I do not like Bock Beers and this is no exception. Amber colour but somehow sour taste, not a lot of taste. Definitely among the less good from the brillant Fur Bryghus
