Golden colored with cloudy appearance. Little yellow head. Buttery aroma with some fruits and sour lemon, some grains also present. Medium bodied, soft palated. Flavor is more grainy with mild banana, butter also strongly here. Aftertaste is buttery still with drying notes. I’m not sure if this butter belongs here.

Blom (803) - Odense, DENMARK - MAY 16, 2010
Yellow with a fragmented head. Aroma of hay, lemon and wheat. The flavour is sweet, yet dominated by an unbalanced citric note that ruins everything. Not very refreshing, and somewhat dissapointing for a hefeweizen.

from Vinoble-favrskov. BBF 22.5.2011 clear golden, smooth white head. looks good. The aroma is sort of revolting. The closest match i might think of is marshmallows (skumfiduser) soaked in butter. strong butter aroma, sweet cloying aroma to back it up. I’m not sure if i dare drink this entire bottle. Have shared it with Gitte, is looking forward to her comments She thiks it smells like jellybeans with buttertaste, popcorn with butter with portwine sauce poured over, and the kind of caramel sauce you put onto ice cream.. That aroma is quite a feat considering the bottle says Hvede, which means Wheat. Made of water, barley, wheat and hops. This is the next-worst smelling wheat beer i’ve ever had. flavor is caramelly, very buttery, hoppy bitter, spicy bitter. Not going to finish this glass, yuck!. apart from the strong butter flavor and the gross bitterness, i also sense a slight citrussy note, perhaps from the wheat. Something must’ve gone pretty spectacularily wrong with this bottle. Liquid butter-jellybeans. .yuck.
