Continuing the tradition of their excellent lager and good ale. Clean and balanced all the way to the finish. Not so Christmassy, but a good above strength ale.

500ml bottle paired with delicious pickled herring sandwiches. Soapy, beige-brown head to a super clear, ruby-brown body. Well roasted aroma of dark malts Sweet nut-caramel malts in flavour with developing bitter roastiness. Ok brown ale (Slotskælderen, Copenhagen 12.11.2010).

Malty sweet aroma. Not complex. Annoying watery for my taste. Some hop and alcohole to give a little character. Somehow fresh, but heavy sweet/hoppy. Not for me. Purchased in SuperBrugsen, Halmtorvet.
