Sep 1, 2008 500 ml bottle. Reddish brown body with a small off-white head. Aroma is caramel with a hint of alcohol. Flavor is sweet malt, caramel, burnt sugar and traces of dry fruit. Quite mild and actually not very exiting.
gunnfryd (2743), Kristiansand, Norway
Aug 3, 2008 Bottle. Brown colour with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, roasted, caramel. Flavour is roasted, caramel, malt, hop. Ordinary beer.
yngwie (3529), Kristiansand, Norway
Jul 23, 2008 Bottle. A clear, brown beer with a minimal, off-white head. Roasted, almost butterscotchy aroma, quite boring and disappointing. Sweet and roasted flavor with toffee. Slightly more interesting and better than the aroma, but still quite boring. Medium body, and a sweet, roasted finish with coffee-like bitterness. There’s thirteen on the dozen of beers like this one. (080620)
