COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

English: Fur Påskebryg is a top fermented beer of the English Strong Ale style. Clear and amber golden color with a full creme colored head which leaves nice lacings on the glass. Full flavor of dark malts and aroma hops that finishes in a good and bitter fresh hop experience. Brewed from 3 different types of malt - caramel malt amongst others - and both classic bittering and aroma hops.

A little snobbish ettikette no trace of Easter. Malty aroma and a bock-like flavor, unnecessarily strong beer.

A Mes rate. Bottle thanks to Chris.
Pale amber colour with a thin beige head. Some fruity malt, light spice, maybe a hint of ginger, some faint but pleasant hoppage and a hint of caramel in the finish. Not bad, not great.

Bottle. Pours a hazy amber-orange wit ha pinkish touch. Nice off-white head. Malty aroma with wooden notes and some hops in the background. A bit cloying. Fruity and remote vegetal notes as it warms. Flavour is malty with wooden notes as well. Hops are still in the background and are somewhat dwarfed by the malt, but still feels well-integrated in the beer. A bit cloying though. Metallic notes as it warms. Finish is malty with a milky/creamy note and a mild bitterness. Lingering cereal/vegetal/apple notes. Overall okay, but too cloying, and could have done without the cereals etc. in the finish. 08-09-09.
