COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

English: Fur Påskebryg is a top fermented beer of the English Strong Ale style. Clear and amber golden color with a full creme colored head which leaves nice lacings on the glass. Full flavor of dark malts and aroma hops that finishes in a good and bitter fresh hop experience. Brewed from 3 different types of malt - caramel malt amongst others - and both classic bittering and aroma hops.

Amber color, eggwhite creamy head. Sweet arima, maltish and caramelly, toffee. Fat mouthfeel, sweetish toffee, maybe fudge, with good bitterness. Pleasant.

(Bottle 50 cl) Pours a clear, dark amber golden with a small, off-white head. Sweetish, caramelish aroma with some faint, floral notes. Rather solid body with roasted malt and some burned caramel. Starts light and fresh and ends more like a solid Bock as it warms. 150307

UPDATED: JAN 22, 2008 Bottle at Københavnske Øldage. Clear, golden body and a beige head. Bock-like sweetness in the nose, with malt and some fruity hops. Quite sweet flavor with some hops and spice, and some caramel. Medium to full body, and a quite sweet finish. A pleasant easter beer. Rating: 6-3-4-3-13-3.1 (070512)

Rerate. Pours a clear, golden body with a quite nice off-white head. Sweetish and malty nose with little fruityness. The flavor leads my thoughts to a bock, Salvator or the likes, with its malty sweetness, and there’s a little fruityness too. A bit thin in the mouth, and with a long, sweet and malty finish. A quite nice spring beer. (071123)

Bottle. Medium high fluffy but lasting off-white head. Clear cobber body. Fresh and relatively sweet fruity and hoppy caramel aroma. Far more bitter flavor than expected but not too much of a good thing in combination with the mild flavors of barley malt and caramel. Low carbonation and a long bitter aftertaste with just a hint of the alcohol.

50cl bottle. amber. very large thick light brown head. slightly sour, caramelly brown sugary roasted malty aroma. the sour note frigthens me - could be intended dark fruity stuff, or an infected brew. flavor : not infected.. brown sugar sweet, faint roasted malts, good milk caramel, milk chocolate, hops, very nice and well matched bitterness towards the end. a very well composed flavor. i didn’t think the alc. was so high. well hidden alc.

Draught at Københavnske Øldage. Bronze colour. Toffee dominates the nose. Sweet, rounded and mild with medium body. Lots of caramel and sootging spun sugar. Medium bitterness. A quite tasty malt driven ale.

Bottled. An amber beer with a medium tan head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel, alcohol, metal, and some dusty hops. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of malt and alcohol combined with medium notes of fruit, nuts, toffee, pumpernickle bread, and caramel, leading to a dry and slightly bitter finish. The alcohol giving it a good body together with the bready flavor.
