It was a tough battle on which of the Fur beers I tried was the best. This was imo a bit better than the porter. Caramel and malty aromas and taste. Dry and hoppe finish. Pretty comples and definetly refreshing and enjoyable. A good brown.

Bottle from Frederikshavn Complex beer. Fine carbonation, lowely brown. Candy sugar, sourness, fruit, nuts, bittersweet, quite light. A bit short in the finish, perhaps.

Bottle. Nice untypical brown ale made of 5 diff. malts. Well balanced with small notes of smoke and a good dry finish. I’ve already drunken it several times.

Red brownish colour with a medium mostly lasting creamy white head. Sweet aroma of malt and caramel with some bitterness in the finish. Best from Fur so far.

Sweet aroma of malt, caramel and liquorice. Colour somewhere in between red, brown and amber. Off-white head that doesn’t last longer then average. Caramel and roasted taste with some bitterness in the aftertaste, which incidentally lasts a long time. Creamy pleasant mouth feel. No doubt a good beer, just not my kind of beer.
