English: Fur Renæssance is a top fermented beer of the Brown Ale style. Dark and reddish golden color with a dense creme colored head with a long durability and leaves nice lacings on the glass. Aroma of roasted malts and hop flowers. Balanced and harmonious flavor of smoked malt amongst others, which finishes with strong hop notes. Danish inspired Brown Ale brewed with five different types of malt - smoked malt amongst others - and five types of hops - both bittering and aroma hops - which are added in three stages.

A mostely diminishing big-bubbled tan head, atop a bright browinsh-red body. Discreet aroma of sugary caramel, nothing more actually. Medium to light body. Thinnish malt body, hint of toast and vague peppery malts. No hopbitterness to speak of. Short, light watered down mouthfeel. [Bottle from Kattegatkøbmanden, Overby Lyng, Sjællands Odde]

Bottle, 50cl. Pours clear amber, red-brown colour with a stable, one-finger thick creamy beige-brown head. Pleasantly surprised with rich complex smoked malty character, caramel, brown sugar, marzipan, ripe red fruits and butter biscuits. Malty dominated, medium bitter and light sweet and acidic flavour with moderate, earthy hobs as well as a little metallic end to it. Average carbonated and medium, oily bodied. Not as sweet as expected, more balanced and more to my preferences. Pretty good.

0.5 bottle. Nice big head, slightly off-white. Clear with a cola-like color. Malty aroma, caramel and rye bread. Nice malty taste, lightly bitter and very balanced. Medium body, creamy texture and virtually flat carbonation. Finish is very soft, has a silky touch to it, soothing. All in all a nice beer, somewhat consummate though more strength and decisiveness in taste wouldn’t hurt it.

Bottle. Pours clear amber with stable off-white head. Clear aroma of malt with fruity and flowery notes. Smoky, bittel flavour of hops combined with malty sweetness. Rather bitter for a brown ale, but not bad.

500 ml bottle, at Gl. Skivehus Hotel, Skive. ABV is 6.2%. Brown colour, large off-white head. Aroma of over-ripe dark berries, malts and caramel. The flavour is distinctly malty with notes of caramel, but not too sweet. Some hops in the aftertaste. Okay.

(Bottle). Aroma and taste of caramel malt, hops and toffee. I notice virtually no smoked malt in the taste.
