COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

English: Fur Renæssance is a top fermented beer of the Brown Ale style. Dark and reddish golden color with a dense creme colored head with a long durability and leaves nice lacings on the glass. Aroma of roasted malts and hop flowers. Balanced and harmonious flavor of smoked malt amongst others, which finishes with strong hop notes. Danish inspired Brown Ale brewed with five different types of malt - smoked malt amongst others - and five types of hops - both bittering and aroma hops - which are added in three stages.

Tap @ Cockney pub, Århus. Pours dark golden with a offwhite head. Aroma of malt, caramel, fruit, some sourness.. Taste is malt, caramel, sweet fruit, light hoppy finish. Medium body, soft carbonation, light sourness in the finish to. Have a hard time understanding this beers popularity at the pub. 100909

nice foamy head, serious nose of caramelmalts and flowery hops. Taste is overpowering sweet but evolves into burned malty flavors, and dried out in soft bitters. To sweet for my liking not easy going aswell,

Clear amber brown pour with a small light tanned head. Aroma has lots of caramel, wet cardboard, a bit nutty, hints of hops, lots of malts though. Taste is very malty, light bodied, hazelnut, caramel, hints of cardboard, hints of roast, a bit of hops in the end. Not very impressive.

Bottled (BB 11/2010)
Dark brown color, small off-white head. Toffee and diacetyl in the nose. Medium-bodied. Hoppy, caramelly, toasted malty flavor. Not barley wineous, more like an old or strong ale.
