COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

English: Fur Renæssance is a top fermented beer of the Brown Ale style. Dark and reddish golden color with a dense creme colored head with a long durability and leaves nice lacings on the glass. Aroma of roasted malts and hop flowers. Balanced and harmonious flavor of smoked malt amongst others, which finishes with strong hop notes. Danish inspired Brown Ale brewed with five different types of malt - smoked malt amongst others - and five types of hops - both bittering and aroma hops - which are added in three stages.

UPDATED: MAR 21, 2007 Bottle found at Kvickly Ebeltoft. Molbo bryg from Ebeltoft Bryghus, brewed at Fur Bryghus.. Yes.. okay..in Fur bottles and Fur boxes with Fur label design.. Soon we can buy the microbrew Kongens Bryghus, brewed at Carlsberg Valby... And this Ebeltoft Bryghus being brewed at Fur..Nice aroma and taste of caramel and malts. Thin head. I have tasted so many better BA´s than this Molbo from Fur.

pours very pleasing to the eye, like tiny pearls rising to the surface. Nice head fluffy and brittle. Sweet melts into bitter, clasic ... Boring. A bit tinny in the nose. Taxing note: grapefrut pith

nice foamy head, serious nose of caramelmalts and flowery hops. Taste is overpowering sweet but evolves into burned malty flavors, and dried out in soft bitters. To sweet for my liking not easy going aswell,

Bottle. Pours a clear deep amber with a big head with good duration. Aroma is roast malt, spices and some fruit. Taste is sweet with roast malt and some hints of chocolate. Seems unbalanced and with almost no finish.

Sweet aroma of malt, caramel and liquorice. Colour somewhere in between red, brown and amber. Off-white head that doesn’t last longer then average. Caramel and roasted taste with some bitterness in the aftertaste, which incidentally lasts a long time. Creamy pleasant mouth feel. No doubt a good beer, just not my kind of beer.

hældt i kwak glas, lækker brunlig / nøddebrun gylden , lækker skummende som forbliver , men lidt for kort... mild maltet røgsmag over i sødlig blid på gane... super...

Bottle 50cl. Dark red/brown colour, with a rather small head. The nose reminds me a bit of freshed baked rye bread, sweetness and some malt. It is very present in the glass. The taste is somehow different than the nose, as it adds a bitterness which I cannot decide if I like or disturbs the sweetness I would expect. It is not a beer in harmony in my opinion, but is easy to drink.

Thin colour à la nut brown ale. Malty, soft aroma with a hint of fresh hoppy bitterness. Creamy head. Taste is full bodied and fruity. Full of malt and with a touch of light roast and smokiness. Bitterness is light, fleeting, however nicely apparent in the aftertaste. In total a well balanced craft beer, but not reaching exceptional height. 2011-08-06
