COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

English: Fur Renæssance is a top fermented beer of the Brown Ale style. Dark and reddish golden color with a dense creme colored head with a long durability and leaves nice lacings on the glass. Aroma of roasted malts and hop flowers. Balanced and harmonious flavor of smoked malt amongst others, which finishes with strong hop notes. Danish inspired Brown Ale brewed with five different types of malt - smoked malt amongst others - and five types of hops - both bittering and aroma hops - which are added in three stages.

0.5 l bottle, thanks Timo A! Dark amber color. Sweet, toffeish and bready aroma. Sweet toffeish, caramelly and slightly berryish flavor with low bitterness. Needs more bitterness or roastedness for a balance.

(on tap) The oddest name for a brown ale..A dry, slightly burnt caramel aroma. High, but nicely carbonation and a full, malt flavour. Fades out OK, into an easy dryness on the palate.

Tap @ Cockney pub, Århus. Pours dark golden with a offwhite head. Aroma of malt, caramel, fruit, some sourness.. Taste is malt, caramel, sweet fruit, light hoppy finish. Medium body, soft carbonation, light sourness in the finish to. Have a hard time understanding this beers popularity at the pub. 100909

Soon we can buy the microbrew Kongens Bryghus, brewed at Carlsberg Valby... And this Ebeltoft Bryghus being brewed at Fur..Nice aroma and taste of caramel and malts. Thin head. I have tasted so many better BA´s than this Molbo from Fur.

Amber with a nice grey head. Sweet aroma of corn and caramel. The flavour is also very sweet with further notes of brown sugar and bread. No beer renaissance here
