COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

English: Fur Steam Beer is a bottom fermented beer of the Steam Beer style. Clear beer with a strong amber golden color. Full creme colored head with a long durability which leaves nice lacings on the glass. Warm and vinous aroma with a nice experience of hops. Strong and warm flavor of dark malt with its full harmonious finish from the hops. Fur Steam Beer is brewed with 3 different types of malt where caramel malt is one of them. Fur Steam Beer contains both classic bitter and aroma hops which gives its nice aroma and well balanced finish to the flavor. Fur Steam Beer gets a very gentle filtration before bottling and pasteurising which is one of the important prerequisites to keep the nice and complex aroma pattern in the beer.

At CPH BeerFest 2010. Amber colour with mediumsized slightly off white head. Aroma is caramel malts, some toffee, grass and mild herbal and wooden notes. Flavour is quite strong on the malts, a bit herbal notes as well as some wood and mild fruity notes. Quite earthy in the finish.

Lovely red beer, rocky head. Fruity aroma. Sweet fruit, oranges. Very sweet, lacks the proper bitterness to lift it.

Bottle at Café Gavlen on Nørrebro shared with KnutAlbert. Off-white, thin layer leaving nice lacework on the glass. Deep, ruby-red body. Similar taste and aroma of dried fruits and malty sweetness. Soft in the mouth. A bit too sweet, but alright (Copenhagen, 09.05.2010).
