Bottle. Pours a clear golden with a creamy off-white/yellowish head. Slight lacing. Tart, hoppy aroma with a grainy note in the background. As it warms sweet and dry notes come out, as do a metallic overtone, while the grainy note becomes stronger. Tart and sweet flavour with notes of hay and hops and grainy notes in the back; the latter becoming more dominant as it warms. Metallic notes appearing too. Sweet, grainy finish with a lingering grassy note and a slight alcohol burn. Would have been better without the grainy notes. 25.10.11.

Bottle 50cl from Papsoe, a clear amber beer with small head that goes quickly. Nose is on burnt caramel. Aroma is grassy, vegetable like and caramel like, near to german bocks, finish gives a mix between sour notes / burnt caramel / vegetable. In the average.

Bottled. Clear pale amber, minimal head. Sweet and fruity with rounded mouthfeel. Bready malt forms a well sized body. Almost no bitterness. Mild and malty, rather edgeless. Pleasant, but quite unassuming.
