Smooth and refreshing weizen beer. Flows easily, but the pour is weak for a weizen. The head is non-existant.

Refrigerated 0.5 L brown flip top bottle poured into a glass. Pours cloudy light orange with medium size head. Aroma is light banana, medium body, medium carbonation, and thin small bubble lacing. Taste is clove, banana, and bubblegum. Good hefeweizen, with a nice richness.

500ml bottle. Cloudy golden colour with huge, thick, frothy, white head. Fruity, wheaty and yeasty aroma, notes of banana. Taste is fruity, wheaty, notes of apple and banana, hints of pear, a tart touch of lemon, minimally peppery yeasty overtones. Prototype of a Hefeweizen.

What’s not to like about this beautiful hefe? Super easy to drink, light, fresh, crispy, smooth, and above all delicious. The beer has a very light color and clarity with a bit of a watery appearance. The flavor is also very light and simple. The palate is smooth and easy. The only issue about this brew is the need for some additional carbonation and hefeweisen aroma. Overall a nice start of all end of summer beer. Would definitely buy again.

Swing top 500ml bottle. Pale and hazy, not much head retention. Good yeasty nose and taste of bananas, clove, and some fruityness. Nice blend of sweetness, and tartness. Creamy body. Real good!

(bottle from Sparky, thanks E!) Pours a very hazy (even with a careful pour) light yellow/gold color with a fastly disappearing white head that leaves scant film at the top. Aroma is slightly better than most cracks at hefes, with some dried banana chip, a bunch of wheat bread, and some stinging lemon zest that pokes the nostrils. The banana chip really saves it here. Flavor contains some light dijon mustard (lessened with warming), more wheat bread along with cream of wheat and bananas, faint pear and vanilla, with a crisp wheat snap signifying the finish. Mouthfeel is full and creamy; none of this thin and watery business to speak of here. Overall this is a quality hefe that’s on par with a Paulaner, slightly below a Weihenstephaner, and nowhere close to a Dancing Man, although I’m guessing it’s far superior if drank fresh from the source.

Bottle 500 ml
Aroma: milder, classic profile, citrus on sweeter side. Not very intense yet nicely set up.
Look: deep murky, amber-gold with white lighter top. Sparse lace. 3+
Taste: easy going, even mild. Very seasonable approach. Not super deep but well brewed.
