Bottled, Beerangel (BB 09/2009). Flip-top. Deep red color, creamy steady beige head. Aroma of caramel, wood and some fruits. Dryish mouthfeel, a bit too watery. Caramel and milk chocolate in the flavor with grassy hoppyness in the finish. Standard ok dunkel.

Bottle 50cl, a clear dark-amber beer with medium head. Nose is very malty and caramel like. Aroma is medium sweet with a good malt body on toasted notes, caramel, brown bread, fruit notes on dry grapes, yes it’s more a dunkel as a Kellerbier as stated on the label. Finish is slightly hopy on the peppery side.

Bottle @ Bierzwerg.de. Pours amber with a creamy head. Bread, caramel, grass and grain. Smooth and medium bodied. Good.

It’s mahogany-red with a huge, creamy head, and the aroma has notes of roasted malt, syrup, caramel and light cocoa. The flavour is moderately sweet to sweet with notes of roasted malt, caramel, nuts, syrup, light cocoa, and the finish is dry. It’s quite nice.

Sorry for the german rating, but this is a lousy rating from my "newbie" time (2007-2009), and it’s not worth of being translated. I just added it for the statistics, and to complete my backlog!
Im Glas steht ein leuchtend dunkelbraunes, rötliches Bier mit grober Krone, die innerhalb weniger Sekunden verschwindet. Der Geruch ist dominant röstmalzig und stark brotig. Der Antrunk erfolgt sehr brotig, wirklich SEHR brotig, aber das ist positiv zu werten, wenn es ist wirklich sehr bekömmlich. Zudem spielt eine angenehme Röst-bittere mit. Der Abgang ist süßlich, karamellig, und wieder kommt der brotige Ton gut durch. Insgesamt sehr rezent.

Dark brown-red colored with big light brown head. Nice chocolaty, little bit of roasted aroma with dry, slightly grassy and nutty aroma, good one. Medium bodied, smooth palate. Flavor is also nicely roasted and smooth with some berries, dark chocolate and some nuts. I like this.

Swing-top by 04.08.12. Nose is lightly dusty, earthy, with caramel and light chocolate, malt. A very pretty, shady ruby-amber with snail-slow carbonation and rocky tiny-bubbled tan head. Nutty taste, low roast with (slight) milky chocolate, malty but actually relatively dry for a Dunkel. Light body, coating. Relaxing.

50cl bottle with flip-top. Poured colabrown color with a huge, frothy, lasting beige head. Aroma is nice, caramel, slightly roasted and bready. Medium bodied, flavor is caramel and bread, slightly sweet. Long finish. Very nice dunkel, high drinkability.

500ml flip-top bought in Germany. Pours a deep reddish brown with a big beige head, aromas of sweet malt and caramel, and a hint of bread dough. More caramel on the palate but with a nice balancing peppery hoppy bite and a drying malty finish. A light tang of dark fruit and dry cocoa in the tail. Very nice.

Im Geruch röstig-malzig mit schokoladigen Beimengungen. Antrunk süßlich und ein wenig dünne. Die Mitte kompensiert dies aber mühelos durch eine ordentliche Herbe und einen schokoladigen Unterton. Herb und bitterschokoladig im Schluß.
