COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A combination of two according to the German Purity Law brewed beers. The cloudy beer blend is composed from 53% top fermented German Wheat beer and 47% bottom fermented Pils. Both beers are lagered together after a common brewin process. The fruity-herbal start is combined with a hoppy Pilsner finish. A real experience!

Bottle. Lives up to the commercial description quite aptly. This is in interesting blend ... it carries the fruity esther aroma and creamy texture of a weizen, but has a steady mid-current component of a continental pils ... evenly biscuity and tightly hopped. Nice change up. (#5571, 7/5/2014)

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein trübes orange-goldenes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch hefig, fruchtig, bananig. Geschmack hefig, bananig fruchtig, minimal würzig.

Small sample poured from 12 oz. bottle in a beer class at Total Wine and More in McLean, VA. Hazy, tawny yellow with a small off-white head and good lacing. Aroma of banana, wheat and lemon. Taste of banana, wheat and lemon. Light/medium body and medium/low carbonization. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Where and how: Bottle Virginia Beach
Aroma more of wheat notes than pils. Slight herbal sides, slight wheat with tartness followed.
Appearance:
Top: medium plus top, some lace shown.3+
Base: hazed amber gold.
Taste: soft clean and smooth. Milder carbonation. True blend of styles. Milder wheat notes with soft bod. Clean, crisper lager backing. Still wheat side was dominant here, Nice drinkable hybrid.

Pours a very hazy yellow color with a tiny white head that fades away quickly. Aroma is banana and lemon. The taste is exactly what I expected. Half banana and lemon hefe and half a pilsner. It’s an ok combination but I feel the pilsner half is watering down and taking away from what could have been a good hefeweizen. Interesting, not remarkable enough to remember.

Pours a light hazy yellow with a thick frothy head and active carbonation. The aroma is of esters with bananas and cloves. The taste starts sweet and has high notes of bananas and finishes with a slightly peppery spice. It could finish a little dryer. Not too bad overall

Light milky yellow-golden colour with steady head and medium body. Nose of yeast. Taste of fresh light yeast, grass, mild hops, blood oranges and clover. Very fizzy but also quite thin and watery. Refreshing but too unsolid. Boring and dull, too much yeast, too less hops.

Honestly said I did not taste that this one is a mix of Pilsner and Weizen as the Weizen is absolutely dominarting. Bit fruity, bit quaffy, easy going Weizen - bit above average.

Hazy golden pour with a white head. Banana, straw, and mild clove aromas. A light tartness, some white pepper, lemon zest, grass, and some bread sweetness. The flavor has a nice banana note to it and some decent clove. Hints of tartness, lemon zest, bread, and very light pepper.
