COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A combination of two according to the German Purity Law brewed beers. The cloudy beer blend is composed from 53% top fermented German Wheat beer and 47% bottom fermented Pils. Both beers are lagered together after a common brewin process. The fruity-herbal start is combined with a hoppy Pilsner finish. A real experience!

VEry nice too. I like this brewery, although the combination of the two styles was a little surprising to me.

The beer in the glass is dark yellow, cloudy with a good head. Creamy-yeasty aroma, slightly fruity also. Starts yeasty and sour, with a pleasantly fruity note. A light hop aroma is noticeable in the background. The aftertaste is yeasty, banana-like, slightly fruity and sweet. Well-balanced tart-sweet finish!

Bottle 50cl. A cloudy yellow beer with low head. Smell is on wheat and yeast. A quite dry weizen, body is low, some spicy hops, a common weizen in the average just more spicy.

Bottle 500ml. @ home.

Unclear hazy light to medium yellow color with a large, frothy, good lacing, fully lasting, white head. Aroma is light malty, wheat, hay, grain, moderate yeasty, fruity, yeast. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to light light modrate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is watery to creamy, carbonation is soft. [20101015]

Weisspils Another strange one. Dont know weather this is a Pils or Weizen or both. It claims both. Cloudy but see through. Smells like a Weizen pours like a Pils. A sour bitter taste. Unique but not spectacular. Worth a try for something different but would not stock it.

Swing-top bottle. Lemon/banana wheat malt aroma. Cloudy orange-yellow color with moderate head. A mixture of Weizen (lemon/banana and wheat malt) and grassy hops - a mixture of the 2 styles - exactly what it says. Interesting to say the least - worth a try.

bottle. Cloudy pale yellow, large head. Aroma of a Hefeweizen, although it is a Weißbierpils. It starts like a Hefeweizen and than becomes more and more like a Pils, being quite hoppy in the finish. Interesting and unusual combination of two styles.

The bottle looks neot bad - silver. The beer in the glass looks like a normal hefeweizen. The beer starts also like a weizen, the finish is more like a pilsner but becomes vapid really fast. Nice experience, but only an average beer.
