COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A combination of two according to the German Purity Law brewed beers. The cloudy beer blend is composed from 53% top fermented German Wheat beer and 47% bottom fermented Pils. Both beers are lagered together after a common brewin process. The fruity-herbal start is combined with a hoppy Pilsner finish. A real experience!

Aroma of bananas and clove. Cloudy with no head and a straw color. Hints of hops but doesn’t assert itself. Mostly the hops give a clean finish. Slightly sweet at the beginning. The mouthfeel is pretty limp. Overall, it’s fine but not outstanding.

Light milky yellow-golden colour with steady head and medium body. Nose of yeast. Taste of fresh light yeast, grass, mild hops, blood oranges and clover. Very fizzy but also quite thin and watery. Refreshing but too unsolid. Boring and dull, too much yeast, too less hops.

Honestly said I did not taste that this one is a mix of Pilsner and Weizen as the Weizen is absolutely dominarting. Bit fruity, bit quaffy, easy going Weizen - bit above average.

Hazy golden pour with a white head. Banana, straw, and mild clove aromas. A light tartness, some white pepper, lemon zest, grass, and some bread sweetness. The flavor has a nice banana note to it and some decent clove. Hints of tartness, lemon zest, bread, and very light pepper.

Bottle from Total Wine, Sacramento. Pours cloudy golden with a disappearing white head and a floral aroma. There is a crisp frjuity pilsner malt flavor with a slightly bitter finish. Very refreshing.

50cl bottle: pours a slightly cloudy pale golden with a stringy-lacing froth of white head. Has a sweet light malty nose with some banana esters and a touch of clove. Starts with pretty good fullness and effervescence with a smooth sweet wheat flavor and subtle hop bitter balance before a bready finish with some clove spice. True to style and very drinkable.

Into a pils glass. Two and half fingers of head on a cloudy, orange colored body. Looks great. The aroma is a wonderful mix of yeast, orange, banana and apricot. The taste is mild overall: a little banana, mild lemon bitterness and a touch metallic. The texture is crisp with fizz. The taste was a real mish-mash that didn’t work for me, but it’s still a very drinkable beer.

500 ML swing top bottle from Total Wine, Naples FL. Weizen glass shows a bright hazy yellow with low carbonation producing a tiny ring of white head. The aroma is predominately lemon citrus. Yeast is just a hint. The taste is much more leaning on the Pils side of the house. Lots of fresh squeezed lemon and pale malt. Crisp clean fresh texture of a Pilsner with a bit more body from the wheat. Very easy to drain the glass. Not real strong yeast notes that you expect in a hefeweizen but still a real refreshing brew. Interesting blended beer.

This specialty beer pours hazy yellow, but without the customary Weißbier sediment. There is a huge, long-lasting snow white head that leaves good lacing, and a strong fruity aroma along with a touch of alcohol. The initial palate features the citrus and banana fruit flavors of a typical Weißbier along with a bit of its characteristic spiciness. That flavor profile quickly eases into a bright, hop-bittered, and light-bodied Pils finish. Brewer notes indicate this beer is a blend of 53% top fermented Weißbier, and 47% bottom fermented Pilsner. This beer weighs in at 5.1% ABV. (The Pilsner character of this beer becomes more prominent as it comes to room temperature. I preferred the Weißbier character of this beer, but it is an interesting blend.) Good!

Appearance: cloudy gold pour with a huge meringue of white head and tons of lacing. Aroma: banana, bubblegum, clove, wheat, grass, pepper, some floral honey and creamed corn. Taste: typical HW flavors, with just a bit of a sharp floral, peppery character. Finish: lingering notes of citrus, wheat, and floral/pepper bite. Notes: Exactly what you’d expect of a hefeweizen/pils hybrid. You take a solid hefeweizen base and add a bit of pilsner zing. Really refreshing, and paired perfectly with a rich and spicy meatball pasta.
