Swing-top bottle. Barnyard barley malt aroma. Cloudy yellow-amber color with moderate head. Sweet barley malt with moderate grass hops finish. Decent but unable to match the average fresh Zwickelbier.

The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Like a hefeweizen. Flavor okay, modest malty, a little bit fruity, well balanced finish. Good beer.

Bottle. Dark golden colour with an off-white head. Aroma is fruit, malt, caramel, apple. Flavour is fruit, malt, caramel, hint of hop. A little bit boring beer.

500ml bottle. A bit cloudy golden body with a firm white head. Sweetish malt aroma with grain. Flavor is relatively sweet malty, a hint of caramel and some bitterness. Easy to drink, well composed and a medium body. Nothing to be ashamed of.

Bottle. Slightly hazy amber colour, average white head. Malty aroma. Notes of yeast, fruity. Slightly sour and yeasty finish. Very good Zwickl.

Bottle. Clear, except for some floaties, golden, with a nice, off-white head. Sweetish initial aroma, a bit artifical-fruity, but soon joined by grains. Medium strong flavors of mostly sweetnes, caramel, and grains. Some hops as well, but not much bitterness. Medium body and a fruity, hoppy finish. A bit anonymous, but certainly quaffable. (071031)

Bottle. A light hazy golden beer with a big white head. Light dusty malty, grassy hop aroma, and a light sweet malty, grassy taste. Medium body with a dry finish.

500ml swing-top bottle picked up at the Geträngtmarkt in West Park, Ingolstadt. Fresh, but weak aroma of malt and citrus fruits. Moderate lasting head over a golden body. Has got an initial hoppy touch in the flavour. Clean tasting with some smoky notes. Quite well bodied (22.06.2007).

MiP (13799) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - JUL 14, 2007
Bottle, 4.9%. Sweet malt aroma, hint of yeast. Hazy copper colour. Nice and big, creamy, stable, rocky head. The flavour is quite malty with a hint of horse and slightly roasted. The bitterness is a little rough, but balances the malt well. Low to medium carbonation. Quite pleasant and very süffig.
