4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
500ml bottle - $3.99 at Total Wine & More in Kennesaw, Georgia.
Appearance: Pours a lightly hazed, darkish golden body with a tall, foamy, white head.
Smell: Moderately grainy-scented pilsner malts with a quality to it best described as being "dusty and forgotten". Like an old bottle in an unpopular beer store, a family heirloom, or an Adam Sandler movie on VHS. Also, vague notions blended together, a washed-out melange of fruit, sweetness, and spicy herb.
Taste: Lightly malted barley with a forward graininess to it. Softly sweet. Very, very faint caramel accent, maybe a fleeting hint of dried apricot. Additionally, there’s some modest citrus and herb. Lightly bitter. Drying finish, though there’s still some caramel qualities present. Lingering yeast and herb.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation.
Overall: A nice, dusty lager.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a light orangish brown, somewhat cloudy with a nice satin like head that holds a long time. Very nice malty aroma. Nice taste, with good bittering. Good hop flavor, nice after taste. I will be looking for this on tap in Germany!

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
swing top. hazy dark gold with a large, fluffy, whipped white head. honey scented malt notes. light bodied with a clean finish. flavors of honey and cereal though not as robust as the classic and the weissbierpils. bittering hop lends a light grassyness to the finish. all of the furst wallerstein beers i’ve tried have completely outdone my expectations. excellent showcase of beers.

This is another pretty tasty beer. A bit like a aheavy lager but a tad bit of sweetness. A style hard to find but good.

3.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
.5 liter swing-top bottle. BB: 24.09.13. Pours hazy golden color, tan foam, amazing lace. Smells of bread with yeasty lemon zest. The aroma is fresh in an old way. Slightly herbal notes. Bready flavor, whole grains taste, grassy hops, straw, earthy bitterness. Finishes with a herbal yeast character that dominated the beer throughout. Unfiltered yeast beers are no longer my favorite style, this one is good. (3554)

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
500ml flip top bottle. Slightly hazy orange-tan. Thin off-white head. Malty and easy, lots of sublime lager tones. Creamy, easy going, very sessionable. Approaching cream ale, but with lager notes instead of fruity ale. Quite nice.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
I think from the bottle. Color was a dirty amber with a big fluffy head. Aroma of spice, bread and yeast. Almost peppery and herbal. Flavor was of sweet malt, bread with a great herbal and peppery finish. Slightly creamy on the palate. Nice finish and after taste. It seems that I like Zwickels more than most.
