Bottled. A light yellow beer with a thin lazing white head. The aroma has notes straw and malt. The flavor is sweet with straw and malt, leading to a bitter finish.

MiP (13664) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - FEB 19, 2010
Bottle, 5.1%. Clear pale yellow colour. Very small white head. The flavour is OK malty, but there is also an underlying grainy note. Almost clean finish.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Clear yellow with a white head. Clean malty nose. Medium body, again clean malts with a vague metalic touch. Dry and lightly bitter finish. Clean and well made throughout. 190210

Embrouille (2829) - SWITZERLAND - JAN 25, 2010
Bottled 33cl. Clear pale golden with a small head. Grainy aroma of honey, cardboard, breakfast cereals and apple. Sourish. Dry grainy taste with a lot of apple showing up. Rather present bitterness without any pleasant hop components emerging. Not subtle at all. Reminiscence of apple in the finish which is dry. No lacework to mention. I didn’t enjoy this pils. A very poor example.

JorisPPattyn (7973) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - OCT 13, 2008
Draught Clear-golden yellow beer with small snow-white head. Dry grains nose, bit "herb", bit grassy. Very dry, straw-like grainy flavour, some grassiness. It does not fall flat, but instead the taste goes completely dry, as dry bread. Hops, all the same, finish the picture. Despite the initial creamy onset in texture, it’s bone-dry. Very lingering MF, taste turning into something as nettle cheese. Hoppy, but especially ultra-dry Pilsener.

shrubber85 (7732) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - SEP 8, 2008
Bottle. Milky barley malt aroma. Pale yellow color with small head. Primarily a strong flowery grass hops flavor - minimal malt. Strong hops but not much else.

pivnizub (8920) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - AUG 20, 2008
Bottle (thanx to Quack-Duck!): Greenish-golden, lazy carbonation, small lacy white foamy layer; strawy, grainy and slightly sourish nose; light bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied as well; light to moderate sweet-bitter finish. "Edel" = "noble", an euphemism for a poor beer......

   AROMA 5/10   APPEARANCE 3/5   TASTE 6/10   PALATE 3/5   OVERALL 11/20
MoritzF (8562) - Bochum, GERMANY - JUN 26, 2008
(33cl bottle, courtesy of Quack-Duck) Clear, pale golden colour with a mid-sized foamy white head. Medium-sweet, slightly perfumed malty nose with light herbal hoppy notes. Light-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderately carbonated mouthfeel. Slightly perfumed strawy malty taste with light herbal notes; dryish, slightly bitter and hoppy finish. Not really convincing (26.06.08).
