3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
330 ml bottle. Very pale golden colour. Crystal clear. Tall white fluffy head that clings to the glass. Subdued malty aromas. Gentle hop aroma with some grassy notes. Mellow texture balanced by a crisp grassy hop flavour. Quite a lot of hop flavours, but the body is rather light. The beer is very refreshing and I’m sure it’d work nicely as a thirst quencher. Particularly exciting it isn’t, but for a pale lager this is one of the better ones I’ve had in a long time.

Straw body, slightly unclear. Thin white head with bubbles. Notes of malts in aroma and flavour added some sweetness.. Little more than clean tasting and easy drinking (bottle shared with Finn, Tromsø 06.09.2007).

500ml bottle at Three Judges, Glasgow. I was thirsty and it was a hot day and this slid down perfectly. Pale gold, lasting white head. Decent lager, crispness is ok if understated. Malts are fine. Light lager, but fine.

Nice strong aroma, reasonable taste, could be "hoppier" for me. Reasonable imported beer.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
A clear golden beer with a thin, short-lived white head. Initially, a slightly skunked aroma. Then some dryish malts , light fruitiness and scents of earthy hops. Taste is clean, medium sweet, with a fair amount of earthy and bittering hops. Low malt level, and light sour-fruity flavores. A fair Pale Lager, but still very forgettable.

2.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Good strong aroma with a nice fluffy (but light) head. Great color... looks like its gonna be a nice one already. Flavor was a bit too hoppy which ruined the smoothness a little bit.

A Golden coloured ale, with a hoppy nose, a hoppy lager with a mellow malt with bitter hop resin back tones.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
The reference to a beer of the Black Forest took me back to "A walk in the Black Forest" in a Goodies episode of my youth. Can’t complain though, a simple natural lager. Pale colour, light head and a lasting maltiness. Quite reasonable.
